Flux's Beamo tries to be the smallest, most affordable laser cutter available, with a $1,499.99 price and a footprint that actually fits on a desk. Glowforge's cutters run from $2,500 to $6,000, while Epilog's start at $8,000 and head into five digits, and all are massive boxes. Laser cutters for etching signs, designs, and photos into wood, plastic, and metal are powerful tools, but they're also very large and expensive.
